Network
Weboutloud’s network is fast and secure. They provide firewall security so I do not need to worry about DoS attacks or “evil” packets. It is a very solid network which is essential for me because I run multiple game servers and a solid network is essential to keep my clients coming back- a key clue as to how stable it is.
Server
I wanted a powerful server and that’s what I got. My server fits my needs and handles nearly anything I can throw at it. I did manage to freeze it with an apache crash, but that was quickly fixed with a fast reboot (see goodies). The hardware was what I wanted and was delivered fast- setup only took two hours with communication coming from their end to tell me what was going on.
Support
The support I receive from weboutloud blows away that of my previous two companies. I am able to quickly communicate with the support team via skype, irc or aim. They are quick to respond and are very knowledgeable on their materials. It makes the ticket system almost unnecessary as I have not had any issues with the server, and any other problems were easily fixed over chat.
Goodies
One of the many things I love about weboutloud is their online control panel. With the push of a button I can reboot the server, view daily bandwidth usage, view server info or submit a ticket. With this system I do not need to wait on a ticket to do something as simple as rebooting a server and I can easily monitor my bandwidth usage to ensure I don’t go over the (amazingly high) 6TB limit. They also offer an unlimited number of ssl certs- key for a secure business.
