I have always had regular shared hosting in the past, but now think I could do with the freedom of having a VPS or cloud server. I have been talking to Rackspace about their core cloud package, but I don’t really understand it and how it differs from a VPS.

I am looking for a new package where I can host three or more fairly low-traffic domains and also install Oracle XE.

I also need 24/7 telephone contact with a responsive support team. When my website goes down, the last thing I want is to create a ‘support ticket’ and sit back and wait.
